Background
Charalampos Chatzidimitriou is a 2nd year undergraduate Electrical Engineer at the University of Cyprus (UCY).
During his studies he joined the CARDET competition “United for a Green Europe”, and he led a three-person team in the development and production of a video showcasing sustainable ecological solutions for Cyprus. Selected to represent the project at an international event in Brussels, collaborating with other delegates from Europe to exchange cross-border environmental strategies and “green” initiatives.
During the first year of his studies, he participated in the conceptual development of a startup focused on smart agriculture. The project aimed to provide farmers with an innovative sensor-based system capable of measuring soil mineral content and delivering data-driven recommendations to optimize crop growth and improve agricultural productivity.
Charalampos Chatzidimitriou joined the Ideopsis team in June 2026 as a summer intern. He is passionate about sustainability and renewable energy and aspires to build a career in the renewable energy sector in the future.
