On 31 October 2023, the European Commission organised the first national round table on financing energy efficiency in Cyprus, in cooperation with the Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry,  the Ministry of Finance, and with the support of the Pancyprian Association of Energy Efficiency Companies. The event was organised within the framework of Sustainable Energy Investment Forums.

The one-day event, aimed to bring together the key stakeholders from the public and private sectors of Cyprus, to discuss the strengthening of the financing of energy efficiency and energy saving projects in the field of homes and businesses, with the parallel involvement of the financial sector.
