ideopsis Ltd was proud to take part in the Investopia Global Mediterranean Forum, a landmark event that brought together thought leaders, innovators, and policymakers from across the region and beyond to shape the future of sustainable development. Launched in November 2021 by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, and H.E. Abdulla Bin Touq Al Marri, UAE Minister of Economy (MOE), Investopia platform dedicated to connecting governments, investors, and business leaders to explore and identify investment opportunities in new economies.

Cyprus hosted an Investopia Global event on 10^th of June 2025 where Dr. Chryso Sotiriou had the honour of moderating the high-level panel on “Powering Progress: Investing in the Future of Energy and Water” — a topic that lies at the heart of our mission and expertise.

As the climate crisis accelerates and resource security becomes more pressing, the convergence of energy and water systems is no longer an abstract concept — it is a strategic imperative. The panel delved into this interdependence, highlighting the urgency for coordinated investment, cross-sector collaboration, and regulatory innovation to drive the green transition forward.

From renewable energy integration to smart water management, and from resilient infrastructure to nature-based solutions, the conversation offered a holistic view of how national and regional actors can align their priorities to support climate neutrality, economic resilience, and social equity.
